Ebay 2006.09.25

Merrillville, Indiana, United States

A brand new 2002 Firehawk made by SLP specially ordered by a Canadian Dealer with every SLP Option. The total sticker price with SLP options is $51,536.00 Canadian or $45,660.00 in US Dollars. The car has every option offered by SLP (see window stickers) including the race suspension 1LE which came on less than 100 cars in 2002. This car is one of 41 built for Canada, SLP No. CO47. As with all Canadian cars they are exported, so they always have a history with GM and are in the export registry with all options listed. The car has all the documentation papers from GM of Canada, even the window inspection stickers from the factory are in place on the windshield. All options such as the car cover, floors mats (Firehawk) are still in plastic never used or installed. The paint on this car is flawless, I own two firehawks this has the best paint I have ever seen from GM, even the transport driver who inspected every inch of the car said its the best painted factory car he has ever delivered. The car came from SLP with 29 miles (they test drive all cars and especially the 1LE cars with the up graded suspension package. I put the remaining miles on the car with different tires&rims to get the 5 year old gas out. It has 2 gallons of fresh gas, and a fresh oil change with the original GM PF44 filter. SLP cars are without a doubt the closest thing to factory race car. I'm selling car for less than I purchase it for several reasons, this car is a true collector piece probably one of the lowest mileage SLP cars in existance.

SLP OPTIONS: 345 base firehawk package $6,079.

Unique rear spoiler 969.

Chrome SLP Wheels 1,099.

1LE Suspension Package 2,699.

Auburn Aluminum differential 3:42 gears 1,259.

Custom floor mats 139.

Custom rear deck mat 139.

Commenrative Portfolio 89.

Custom fitted car cover 229.

The car also has the optional CD changer in the trunk, 6 Speed Hurst.

The SLP door sticker on the drivers door lists the selling dealers name, on passenger door sticker all the SLP options are listed. So if you are a Trans Am collector this is for you.

On Sep-25-06 at 05:03:54 PDT, seller added the following information:

Everything you see on this car is the way it came from GM, plastic on the lens, stickers on the windshield, nothing was removed. The dealer ordered the car for his own collection, hence the high options and sticker price, his dealer name is on the SLP Sticker inside the door jam of this car. This dealer also has a showroom in the United States to sell cars. Federal law requires all US marketed cars to read in Miles Per Hour (MPH), the dealer had to change the Speedometer to read MPH to sell it to me. I suppose if you wanted to change the Speedometer back to Kilometers with the original dials you could do it, and it would be correct, and pretty cool too. I actually wanted it to real in Kilometers just to be different. I'm sure the Kilometers verse the MPH has something to do with speeding on US highways, I could see it now: "Officer I didn't know how fast I was going, I can't read this speedometer!"
