LAS CRUCES, NM, United States This RARE BIRD is a FIREHAWK with the WU6 Firehawk package and LS1 engine with the W66 Formula Option and if you know about the firehawk legend you know what I mean! This bird's in excellent condition (garage kept) and has brand new all-season, high performance KUMHO tires accompanied with the original special edition firehawk wheels (17-inch). These wheels are no longer made. This car is equipped with special WS6 center caps that came with the car from the original owner but the car will also be sold with the original Firehawk center caps. Please Note: Originally the car was listed with a typo stating that the car was a WS6 and the WS6 center caps were original. Correction: this car is a Firehawk with the WU6 firehawk package and the W66 Formula option. The changes were modified in the above description. Sorry for any confusion. DETAILS: This car is running perfectly. It has never been smoked in and there are no problems with the interior leather (no rips or dulling). The CD player is a SONY that was put on in place of the factory stereo. It works with no problems and has multiple features. Exterior: No fading, nicks, scratches or body damage. The paint is in excellent condition and shines like new! Features: 2001 Pontiac Firebird, Trans-Am, Formula, Firehawk with LS1 engine and WU6 package and W66 Formula Option, 6-speed manual transmission and equipped with the famous removable T-Tops. Warranty: I purchased an extended warranty with the car and it is still in effect through the end of September 2008. It covers all powertrain components and carries only a $50.00 deductible. Transfer information can be looked into if neccessary. Ownership: I am the second owner. I purchased the car at a dealership in Midland, TX in 2003. The original owner let it go for some sort of hybrid. I had planned to keep this car forever...it is definately a keeper and will withstand the test of time, but as my family is growing and space is an issue I find that at this time I must give it up, and with great hesitation but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. This car will make one happy owner. It is definately a looker. This impressive, super fast and powerful car is perfect for anyone looking to drive or preserve a beautiful, fun and exciting sportscar. | SLP 1LE Suspension Package | |
| This performance suspension system, now being offered exclusively by SLP, includes double adjustable Koni Shocks. (n/a on convertible or with Bilstein Suspension Package) 1LE suspension is back, and now offered exclusively by SLP. It includes Koni double adjustable front and rear shocks allowing you to "tune" your suspension to your specific handling needs. Front upper and lower control arms are tightened up with stiffer rubber bushings. Hollow 35mm front swaybar significantly reduces body roll. Includes revised endlinks, reinforced body mount brackets and firmer bushings. Rear lower control arms with firmer bushings reduce wheel hop under heavy acceleration.
