Montgomery, PA This 1999 FIREBIRD FORMULA was built by General Motor’s Canadian Division in May of “99” and then sent to SLP Engineering Inc., July of that same year to be engineered into one of the fastest sports car of its time. This Limited Editon FIREHAWK # 566 was initially designed with speed and performance in mind. True to SLP manufacturing demands, and the high standards of engineering, this particular vehicle has been further modified and engineered to achieve the peak performance a car like the FIREHAWK deserves. Like any car enthusiast, the first owner; an engineer, loved tinkering with his car. However, unlike other die-hard mechanics, John was no ordinary FIREHAWK owner. A true engineer at heart, John took the specs from SLP and further improved the engine function for greater power. To keep the car on track and strong, he modified the stock drive-train, suspension system and rears with custom built Strange rears for better road handling. This powerful sports car ended up in the hands of its second and final owner. Another FIREHAWK admirer, Frank drove his FIREHAWK with much care.
