Car Notes
Owner Provided Information:
This car was 1 of the 5 Pilot cars used for the 10th Anniversary Firehawk. Four of these cars were the first to have the Iroc Wing that was later used on the 10th Anniversary cars. All 5 Pilot cars were registered and owned by SLP in Troy Michigan. They were used at shows across the country to show what the new Anniversary Firehawk would look like This car was used for shows in the SE Region and was based in Florida, but remained registered in Michigan. Prior to July of 2001 the Gold 10th Anniversary items were removed by SLP and it was later displayed at shows as a new 2002 Firehawk. This car was signed under the hood by Ed Hamburger (President of SLP) when it was finally sold to the public on 12/06/2002.

SLP Options listed on Birth Certificate: Base Alterations, Chrome Wheels, Dual-Dual Exhaust, Auburn Differential, Blistein Suspension, Floor Mats.
The Birth Certificate lists this as a 10th Anniversary Firehawk but it left SLP as a 2002 style, hence the Chrome Wheels listed as an SLP Option. The car was purchased with most of the 10th Anniversary accessories as well.

SLP Options
Auburn, High Torque, Performance Differential w/AAM cast aluminum cooling cover
Combination of leading edge Auburn Gear and American Axle Manufacturing technology enhances traction and helps reduce differential operating temperatures under certain driving conditions. System detects variance in the gripping force of each rear tire and redistributes the engine load as road conditions change, thereby enhancing vehicle performance and stability.
Chrome Wheels
17"x 9" Chrome-Plated, Five-Spoke Aluminum Wheels. SLP orignal offered chrome Speedline wheels as a option 1995, but never delivered any. SLP moved to American Racing Equipment rims in 1996 and started delivering the chrome option.
Firehawk Floor Mats
Heavy duty, custom-fitted carpeting with aggressive nubs to hold mats firmly in place. Premium quality, heavy duty, custom fitted front floor mats are embroidered with a black and red Firehawk logo.
